Assistant General Manager and Board Member

Jamar Arthur-Selman serves as an Assistant General Manager and Board Member of United Assignments, SCC. He is also the General Manager and a Director of Centralis (Barbados) Ltd. which provides general management services to United Assignments, SCC. Jamar is an Attorney-at-Law, business executive and accredited director with fifteen (15) years of experience in the practice of corporate law, international tax, company management and corporate governance, including seven (7) years of experience as Chief Executive Officer of a large Corporate and Trust Service Provider in Barbados. He also has five (5) years of experience as a Compliance Officer and over two (2) years of related sales and marketing experience. He is recognized as an industry leader in the Barbados International Financial Services Sector and currently specializes in the establishment, maintenance, corporate governance practices and general management of legal entities in Barbados. Jamar has and currently serves on the Boards of several subsidiaries of publicly traded companies operating in various industries including by not limited to Captive Insurance, financing and investment holding.  Sir Trevor is a member of numerous local and international tax, legal, and business associations, including the Barbados Bar Association, the Inter-American Bar Association, the Canadian Bar Association, the International Bar Association, the International Law Association, the International Tax Planning Association, and the International Council of Environmental Law.

Jamar is a Past President of the Barbados International Business Association (BIBA); a member of the Society of Trust and Estates Practitioners (STEP); a member of the Chartered Governance Institute of Canada (CGIC) and is a former Director of “Invest Barbados” the investment promotion agency of Barbados.
